A new regional on-line journal, and print newspaper serving
the GLBT / PLWA Community of the Capital Region.

Recent difficulty in getting news coverage of events in the Troy
area, The Randy Shilts Center, The World AIDS Day Candle
Light March, The new Gay friendly HIV / AIDS Ministry that
will be opening soon, have made it clear that we need to work
on improving the quality of news coverage of GLBT activities.

The Community Advocate will function as a real news service,
providing event coverage of all activities of interest to the the
GLBT / PLWA Community, regardless of group affiliations.

No favorites, no agenda, other than a serious committment to
quality journalism, and reporting ALL the news.

The new publication will be a separate venture, with no direct
affiliation with the Randy Shilts Center.
