The Randy Shilts Center
will be
offering scheduled
law workshops where guests can discuss their
concerns
regarding HIV law, confidentiality
issues, and other
matters of estate, mutual power of attorney, authorization
forms, ICU visitation, etcetera.
We will have attorney's availble to facilitate, and advise.
This page will be used
to announce the workshops, and
discuss some of the issues and details of law
that we all
need to be aware of when getting our legal affairs in
order.
We will be developing standard
legal forms to deal with
glitches that can occur from over zealous intepretation of
the HIPAA laws.
